I am not good at my own area yet tbh. Looks like it could be one of those deals where I don't ice very much in Simsbury. Way more skeptical on icing for a place like work in Rocky Hill.

Far more likely for ice in Simsbury than Rocky Hill! If Ryan thinks ice is a concern for West Hartford then certainly moreso in Sims

Not sure that's entirely what Ryan meant. I got the jist 'around here' meant CT in general and not the studio. Perhaps my favorite non WFSB met can clarify @CT Rain

I think I would take it up a bit near the MA/NH border. Not sure why the hole inside 128, but yet the beaches of Plymouth accumulate.

Agree with both, just was amused by the very precise shirk inside 128.

Honestly haven't invested much time / care in this one, a pretty low ceiling for SNE. Not true for next week...

Any educated guesses on how much ice accretion we're looking at in SNE?

I wouldn't expect more than a tenth or so....maybe some of the high terrain gets a little more, but most of the danger comes with just a thin glaze of freezing drizzle when temps really drop tomorrow. There could be an additional tenth or so of glaze tomorrow night as that 2nd round of light precip comes through
