Palisades has had 52 inches in the past week with at least 3 more feet coming, maybe 5. They had a monster 4 foot drift at the 8200' level, they have cleared it away and its already white again. That place gets SO MUCH SNOW its unbelievable!

Stay tuned, there is much more snow coming in March as yet another western trough smashes into California!

Futility thread is there for a reason lol

OK, whatever...no need to wag your finger at me for my previous comment.  Perfectly aware there is a futility thread.  I was responding in kind to what PSU said is all and adding my own thoughts now that we're getting nearly into March.  If I read your intent incorrectly, my apologies.

BASED (loosely) ON A TRUE STORY

(need evidence of a ferret on LSD in real life before I will sign off on a spinoff...)

In no way am I advocating leaving a few hits of LSD out for nature just to make a movie.  Maybe there's a story of a raccoon that got a sugar high off Krispy Kreme and went on a bender.

Palisades Tahoe is rocking with MORE SNOW! The 8200' level platform is snowed in AGAIN, as more heavy snow blows right by the lights! They might get FIVE MORE FEET by Wednesday, on top of 56 inches or so they already got in the past few days!

Wow that place makes Boston look like DCA in March 2001!

These poor people. Snow on the ground continuously since early Dec. Never get a break!

They never salt the roads there though- just scrape it every other day and continue on. No bother.

Honestly...that would suck. It would get really boring after a few weeks.

The west coast has been absolutely dominating this winter.  This loop gives a good example of the general jet stream flow all winter...trough to the west, ridge to the east.

No doubt about that, as strong winds blow massive amounts of dry snow across the 8200' level platform and more snow falls! Temps are falling too, down to 10 degrees today! Palisades continues to get shredded hard by a serious blitzkrieg blizzard onslaught! Three foot drift builds across the 8200' level as winds transport dry snow in clouds, building up the drift as  crystalline hydrometeors pile up!

This track is a good song for a blizzard, western style.

That first cam has me craving a snowstorm.  I'm not a big skier, but skiing in that would make for a fun day.
