donyewest
~40F with just enough pre-dawn snow to pi*s ya off and will be gone by 10AM from now until early May, lock it in. Get out your old sheets to cover those early plants from repeated, poorly advertised frosts. Excited for the abrupt changeover to 89F with 70%+ RH. Gordo74
Fairly certain a Spring thread posted in JANUARY should automatically be filtered into the complaints thread. Yes, it's been a tough winter for snow fans, but we're literally one month into astronomical winter.

I don't see the harm.
TimB
February is a short month, so spring is only 34 days away. And our snow total is 11.4” but probably a majority of the county has received less than half that.

We legit have 2 and half months left of possible winter weather maybe even 3. Granted we are losing prime climo so it doesn't stick around. I'll honestly be amazed if we don't atleast get one noteworthy storm this year. I mean even 3-6 is noteworthy at this point.

I'm just saying lol, because if that panned out, of course we'd get winter in spring with barely any in actual winter.

TimB
Better for the spring thread, but I’m actually morbidly curious how warm Thursday and/or the middle of next week can get.

This is looking good. PIT is already up to 67, it’s into the low to mid 70s just upstream in northern WV, and looks like we see a fair amount of sun this afternoon. jwilson
Bring on the warm weather. Feels so nice today. This winter is butt and I've lost interest in tracking digital snow. Certainly means we're in for a blockbuster March.

I don’t see how you can rule out mid 70s when it’s already 57 and full sun expected all day. HRRR was 5 degrees too cold at 7am and tops us out at 71. But NWS just updated their point and click and hacked about 5 degrees off the highs and says about 67.

jwilson
Sadly looks like we're mired in fake winter for a little while longer where we keep getting shots of cold air. Perhaps a good year to bet on some April snow. Crap.
