Ya that’s the reason. Lol

No, that's not it.

I have a confession to make...

I purchased sleds for myself and my daughter a few weeks before Christmas. (and a shovel)

THAT is the reason for the debacle of this winter.

Sorry not sorry if "sorry" doesn't cut it.

Oh well.

Better confidence we’ll see snow on the ground at Deep Creek when we go on Friday. Might even see clipper-induced flurries on Saturday like the GFS is showing.

I’d agree. Some front end snow possible on the leading edge of the next system followed by slop and then back to snow w the upslope and possibly a bit more associated with another disturbance late Friday into Saturday. Guessing that the 7 valleys - Deep Creek - Canaan corridor gets 4-8 by the time things wind down.

they also got a few inches today.

Nice! Web cam looks good now too. Still snowing lightly even if radar doesn’t show it.

In the 6+ years we’ve had our house out there, I find the upslope always lingers longer than forecast, even if it’s barely/not accumulating.  It’ll just snow lightly for hours and hours and adds a really nice winter scene.

You picked a good weekend to visit!

Make no mistake guys. It is gonna be spot on this time. As we all know, the least snowy model has won the Super Bowl of winter weather forecasting for the past several years.
