went from Agawam to Belchertown  then Templeton moving up :snowing:

Back in I think 2003-04 winter which was pretty good here, maybe a two Foot pack in March, we had a March storm with a few inches that changed to sleet rain but north of Worcester was all snow. I had an appt in Templeton, they had a 5-foot pack after the last storm. Deepest snow I've ever seen. Snow was so deep I couldn't walk around the house I was inspecting. The roads were like tunnels, couldn't see at intersections. Great year in Northern Worcester County.

Freezing drizzle. If this stays frozen, setting up for a serious cluster with the way the trees are caked with snow from 3 days ago.

There’s a large swath from PSM-DAW, southwest down to just north of ORH that have trees full of wet snow; and those same areas looking at ice/very wet snow. Yikes.

I had just about zero melting....large pine branch down in yard. Everything still caked.

I’m familiar with the area but I’m pretty sure if an elevation of 600 - 800 feet in Massachusetts is going to do well with snow, an elevation of 600-800 feet in Vermont is going to do well with snow.

edit:  I guess my original point was I thought you made it sound like he wasn’t going to do well where he is but that area, even at a lower elevation is going to do just fine.  I mean sure, they won’t jackpot.  I was thinking about more from the perspective of who gets taint and Townsend won’t.

So I’m at 1250’. A mile and a half down the road in S.Barre where Hannaford is and where the access road to I-89 is, it’s 750’-800’. There is a noticeable difference, especially with marginal events.  It’s the lowlands for this area.
