Genug Shoyn Mit warm and brown! Is Jan 19-20 a storm to shift the vibe?

Snow now after wasting away as freezing rain and sleet for about 2 hours. :axe:

Flakes are aggregating as they fall through that warm layer aloft, but it has eroded to the point where they can now survive the trip through it, for now anyway.

I expect it to flip back to ZRPL soon based on the dual pol CCs. Maybe the backside tomorrow will overachieve. Sometimes these upper low and inverted trough deals can surprise, and the ratios should be in our favor too.

Friend of mine at Sunset Lake said it was pelting sleet about an hour ago.  As I said above, pounding snow here at the moment.

Not feeling this storm, will see where I'm at 24 hours from now..........

It's really after 7pm or so around here that the better lift arrives. It's near 0C now at 850 so not really surprised it's sleet/rain. It's later this evening when it'll really be make or break
