Right now, radar seems to be pounding western MA, southern NH, and SE VT into parts of CT.  Guidance has more during tomorrow further east so we'll see.  Nice wintry walk tonight.  1.3 so far.  This year that's a win.  Let's see where this pattern is going now.  I think i'll head to FL immediately after PD.

12:30 AM Update...   whoops

What appears to be a moderate band of snow is pivoting over
central MA and CT continues to battle dry air to the west. Snow
is struggling to reach the surface, with flurries reported at
various terminals across the CT River Valley. It is possible
that a coating of snow accumulates, especially on grassy
surfaces in this area if snow can overcome the dry air (for
reference, the dewpoint depression at BDL and BAF is about 20F).

Can't wait to see how DIT moves the goal posts tkmorrow. Pretty much everyone had some flakes in New England.

There about an inch in Whately. Per radar, it's puking at my house... can't wait to see how much is there. Almost stationary band.

Whately in a great spot per radar. Must be snowing hard. I like to track Google maps traffic to gauge intensity, must really be coming down in this band.

My house is in between greenfield and the vt border, looks like it just moved out of the heavier echos. The band is drifting south. Greenfield is in it now and I expect to be in the meat of it in about a half hour.

Good lord, look at that radar to CT's north. That all has to slide through the state. Thank god I am at work already. It's going to be a disaster on the roads this AM.

Couple roads closed already. Roads were snow covered about an hour ago on my way in until Windsor.

Has to be some wet flakes way aloft.

I saw a couple roads closed myself coming in from westfield. Route 189 north of Granby center is closed so I had to detour. Of course I took Mountain Road up the hill. Snowing pretty good heading up towards Hartland

Waiting to hear back from Granby PD with details on that crash actually.
