dendrite
So yeah, looks like this is going to happen to some extent as the mesos have caved. It’s a battle with QPF and temps, but there will probably be a lucky stripe in SE MA away from the water. I’d still be a little gun-shy down there for accums, but even if you half the goofus it’s still a few inches for some. It’ll be interesting to watch this play out.

ORH_wxman
RAP and HRRR both hammer the cape with like 8-12” on clown maps. Lol. Prob overdone because ratios will be a lot less. Still….gonna have to watch if there’s a more intense band with good lift as that will cool the lower levels pretty efficiently underneath one of those.

Should be wild with sustained winds in the 30s and gusts near 50. Enjoy your blizzard Cape boys and girls. CoastalWx
You’re going to need that blob south of the cape to move NW and be persistent. When the precip lets up, temps warm a bit. I’m just skeptical of those amounts. Might be hard to get continued lift for a long time.
CoastalWx
I guess we’ll see. There’s definitely some flags with this. I do agree maybe a narrow spot does well, NW of the canal.
