Will MSP reach 60 inches of snow for the season before ORD reaches 6"?

Looks like this wussy system coming in Sat night may bump ORD AOA 6".  Won't matter though if the bigger system later next week comes to fruition, as MSP will be on the sidelines for that.

We’ve had a few dusting with persistent occasional flurries the past few days but nothing official at the airport.

MSP picked up a tenth today, so latest numbers are

MSP:  52.6"

ORD:  6.2"

A good one would be will MSP get to 60" before ORD gets to 20"?

Given the overall look in the extended, it's a non-zero chance that ORD gives that one a run.

Maybe a better poll would be if ORD or MLI will see a 3" snowfall event this season.  I don't think ORD has even had a 2" event yet, I know MLI hasn't.

After a hot first part of the winter, things have really slowed down at MSP.  In the past 35 days (1/6 through 2/9), ORD has actually outsnowed MSP by a count of 9.7" to 7.3"
