PowellVolz
I know we have flipped the page from yesterday but thought I’d drop this YouTube video showing what happened yesterday that the mods didn’t pick up on with the severe weather. FYI this guy has lots of videos and he does a outstanding job. . 3 3
John1122
That was one heck of a snow shower that lasted a good while. Slacking off now. But got up towards half dollar sized flakes for a while and put down nearly 3/4ths in on the grass and leaves.

BhamParker
We had a nice 30 minute burst 2900 feet up here off ski mountain road. It covered the roads and probably picked up a quick half inch. It has let up now but the bands are starting to build and strengthen upstream .

BuCoVaWx
Went to Grundy earlier and it was coming down hard, visibility was awful. Nothing was sticking to the ground at that time though. On my way back home the mountain tops are completely covered, it's just now starting to stick to the vehicles down in the lower elevations.
Wurbus
Been under a decent band for the past 15 minutes or so here in Karns. Temp went from 36 to 33 and grassy areas and roofs are now mostly white with a good dusting.

jrips27
The 4:15-5pm period up here at 2900 feet SW of Gatlinburg was probably the heaviest snow I’ve ever seen. Just absolutely ripping. Made the trip worth it no matter what happens the rest of the night
John1122
Been pouring down again for the last hour. Over 2 inches now. Here, the sticking on the ground line is about 1300 feet. Or was when I went down to town about an hour ago. I'd wager some of those 5-7 inch totals some high res models were trying to spit out on the mountain tops here will verify. Above 2500 feet there was 3 inches at 4pm.

It's been NNW flow this evening and it usually works out here and it did today. Figured you'd get a couple inches too.
