Better watch out for that high effective stormwater publicity! Sorry to be off-topic (should be banter I suppose), but speaking of closed-caption subtitles messing things up, I was watching "African Queen" (with Bogey and Hepburn) some years back. There's a part where Bogey's character says "I'm the captain, that's who..." (only he says "that's who" in a slurred manner, like "at's who!"). The CC on the movie had this amusing "interpretation!"...

Chinook
Currently there is one new tornado warning in the mountain corridor of the WV/VA state line. One note on an amazing event in years past, in the 1974 super outbreak I believe there was an F-3 tornado climbed up and down one or more mountain ridges in West Virginia. So there's that.

weatherwiz
This is definitely beginning to favor straight-line wind damage over tornadoes. Tornadoes certainly possible with any discrete cells or within any QLCS. Seems like the better llvl shear is lagging a bit and sfc winds not as backed 2
