Kmlwx
TBWI has tops around 45kft on the MoCo cell. So it's either holding or intensifying.
Kmlwx
Very little lightning on the MoCo cell on ENTLN or GOES data. Will have to watch for another uptick - it could be gusting out or pulsing down though.
Kmlwx
Hail marker showing SW of Purcellville now. It's almost like the "blob" has two little "cores". Cool radar watching today.
aldie 22
The blob near upperville needs to come see me
batmanbrad
the blob is not in any big hurry, if it stays together there will be some decent rainfall totals for those underneath it. Cell movement started out S briefly, has gradually turned left and is now reported as a slight ENE movement, such as it is. Edit: plus there could be a bit of training effect if/when the stuff further west comes though.
Kmlwx
MoCo cell is taking it's sweet time - probably going to be some healthy rain totals under it. radar getting messy between the MoCo cells and the big blob to the west as more little cells try to form. I'm guessing the MoCo cell is going to stabilize things so that the stuff behind will be weaker.

Kmlwx
Possible downburst signature SE of Poolesville on the TIAD radar? - One of the most chaotic radars I can remember with so many cells in a small area. It's going to blobify.

WEATHER53
Here it comes the corn dust I discussed recently ate up the light stuff which moved north and around the beltway circle. Corn dust is limited to turning light rain or snow to nothing or moderate to light. Once the precip is solid moderate or stronger the the dust has no effects
