This is actually kinda neat, if it turns out to be any type of storm at all. After the main show while looking at some video we started hearing more thunder and went for another round just before midnight. Finally finished processing long videos on youtube. The first round (time at money shot, as everyone loves bolts!): Then the second storm, this view facing south: The audio quality is quite nice, headphones highly recommended! And just a few minutes ago, after checking radar I thought why not, checked the tower PTZ and sure enough that anvil is firing bolts into clear air! I've only seen this from airplane windows. Got some at about 2:00 this morning as a storm popped over us, but that 10 minutes of rain was it.
