Quite the zone. We were only 30 up here with light snow much of the day today. the_other_guy
Just watched Season 3 Episode 17 of Cheers. The entire episode is sprinkled with scenes of the upper West side during a blizzard. Why they used NY scenes for a Boston show, I dont know. Judging by cars and signage, it was early 80s. I’m not the only New York weather buff that will find that entertaining
Bxstormwatcher360
The part of this that intrigues me is the chance of snow on the last day of january, which would be the ultimate trick by mother nature on us . Break 2 opposite records on consecutive days. 1 no snow..1 with snow to end the snow drought tech.

donsutherland1
Morning thoughts… Early showers of rain, sleet, and snow will give way to variably cloudy skies. It will be noticeably cooler than yesterday. High temperatures will reach the upper 30s and lower 40s in most areas. Likely high temperatures around the region include: New York City (Central Park): 40° Newark: 42° Philadelphia: 41° A short but sharp Arctic blast is likely toward the end of the week. Normals: New York City: 30-Year: 39.8°; 15-Year: 40.0° Newark: 30-Year: 40.3°; 15-Year: 40.7°
