oh good. I was afraid for a minute you would find something optimistic to post.

Always better to post optimistic things with no facts behind them than the reality. How's that working out for all of those that were wishcasting snow for their backyards this morning?

My brother’s house in Harrisburg PA. Happy for him. Will be at my cabin near Berkeley Springs next week. Hoping the midweek wave turns into something.

Excuse me sir, trixie has informed us that your post is a violation of this sub forum. Thank you.

DCA's lowest temperature during the 18/19 season was 10F on 1/31. The latest single digit reading at the airport was 8F on 1/7/18. 5F as a low temperature would be the lowest that location has been since 2/20/15 (Also 5F).

Without snowcover, that would be a really impressive temperature for that site.

It looks like the HRRR is running 4-5 degrees colder than the other models, so 10 is a better forecast.  Still, a pretty good situation to get DCA low since we aren’t counting on radiational cooling.

My lowest December temp since getting my station in 2011 is 13.  Should have no trouble beating that.

I will be shocked if we ever see 83 again. -7 on Christmas morning is probably a record that will stand forever in the Winchester area.

Literally, EVERY POST from you is negative. And has been. Just saying. We can all read the same maps. We all don't need to post each shitty iteration. But, we all have our role. No one in our area wishcast shit this AM and the western highlands folks are doing well. So good for them and glad for them.
