HoarfrostHubb
A little happy ending for my area on that depiction. Kinda cute solution
weatherwiz
This kind of reminds of of Brett Favre's final few playing years. Just ugly to watch unfold but you keep watching b/c you're a Vikings fan and well...you have no choice b/c he's your QB. But yeah crazy, crazy odd. 850 flow becomes more from the ocean and 925 flow is able to keep cold locked in. **** this

But eff it, I'd take it. At least low levels are fairly cold.

Maybe this could be the little engine that could.. who knows

ORH_wxman
Reggie is way colder at H85 than the NAM in the 66-72 hr timeframe....thats a decent hit for eastern areas on 18z run.

CoastalWx
The soundings look a bit cooler vs what the ptype shows, although it could be a lack of vertical layers on the sounding. But anyways, another bizarre look.

But anyways, another bizarre look. Little narrow warm nose at 850....not sure I'd buy that, but who knows. Remember when the NAM kept showing that in the lead-up to the March 2013 firehose? It was like -6 or -7 at 925 and like +2 at 850? Then it finally tossed the idea once inside 48h, but the soundings just now reminded me of that. Doesn't mean it's impossible, but there's probably a reason why. I can see why it has it, but maybe it's a bit embellished. We'll see what the GFS does.
