00z models definitely increased the wind threat here in CT some. Pretty nasty looking signal tomorrow.

Also, a bit more concerned about the coastal flooding with less of a lull modeled around high tide tomorrow morning.

Looks like around daybreak with the warm front and then near cold fropa. But in the warm sector mixing looks pretty good so could be pretty gusty then as well.

Yeah western slopes already getting 40mph gusts well in advance of the strong LLJ.

Up this way this is a prime home station to watch, owned by a NWS member.  Gusted 39mph past half hour.  They come right off Bolton Valley area down to 800ft elevation.

Wind has started to sound like a freight train - lost power for a minute but it came back.

The Eversource outage map and reported numbers are still smallish (about 4,000 statewide), but that is double what it was less than an hour ago.

(Checked again and it climbed to over 6,000 - and based on the radar overlay even bigger winds are on their way now.)

Looks like the Western half of CT gets the brunt of the current line near NY. There is a spin south of LI that I am watching lift north. That could be a windmaker for portions of central and eastern CT.
