I suspect Frederick County will close tomorrow due to the expected icing along the Catoctins. Myersville, Emmitsburg, Sabilasville are usually the areas of concern that drive the whole county decision. I hope I'm wrong though

clskinsfan
Woke up to heavy frost and an Ice Storm Warning this morning. I will be keeping an eye on those dew points today to see which model was closest. I am going to assume this will be the obs thread as well for this event. So here we go. 23/19

There was one event last February where we had early morning ice and 31-32 degrees but much of the county was just wet. I don’t recall that leading to a delay. That said, I think tomorrow will most likely be a delay.

I get trying to keep roads safe but this brine stuff is gonna ruin our watershed over time. I’d almost prefer they go back to sanding as it happens
