Well there isn’t anything we can do about it, so it’s illogical to get upset about it. Hobbies are supposed to be enjoyable, so why not make the choice to enjoy the weather we will get? Post 2016 winters have been dominated for the most part by extreme warmth, and I don’t see any reason why that will stop. There isn’t anything wrong with liking warmer weather.

If this was sincere, I completely understand that sentiment.....however, my visceral interpretation to this is that its akin to being rebuked upon attempt to sit next to a girl at the second grade lunch table, then expressing in an angry retort "Fine, I didn't like you, anyway"!

You are a strange dude. What you doing now is acting like a child..lol

You're attempt at reverse psychology. It's kind of backfiring in your rear. You know, as well as I do that you're not into the warm weather, and if there were a change in this storm track tomorrow showing a blizzard for us, you'd be all over that.

The more people having respect for you if you stick by your core beliefs. Doing something like this makes people haven't pay attention to what you're saying.

I will say, if it isn't going to snow, then I would rather it 60 with a slight breeze....but no way would I opt for it over snow.

Working from home today ...  F'cker and Spaz are on, and apparently ... MLB is implementing a pitch clock?

I'll watch games either way because I like baseball - but it would make that a lot more enjoyable for many if they weren't 4 hours of cup adjusting bat masturbation vs actually putting the ball in play  ...  It's not just the pitchers.  The hitters contribute to the total slow down cycle... they both have to get it done faster now.   I think it'll make the product funner -

Lol. You’re the biggest weenie dude. We like warm weather too… when it’s here. Until then we track winter storms and so will you.

It isn’t all that difficult to change. Just look at my posts about sports, I used to be very positive about the direction the Red Sox we’re going in, the front office, etc. but then I was faced with reality, and adjusted my expectations. I can easily do that with weather too, and I will do so. Sure, I’ll track winter storms but will do so with the understanding that most of them won’t snow here. I like rain too, so if it cuts to Montreal that’s great.

Complete agreement here. And the hitters need to get in the Box and be ready. None of this old Nomar Garciaparra OCD crap

DO watch...it's incredible. My girlfriend is a defense attorney and she was able to point stuff out. It certainly may be a case of Netflix catering to a view point but wow...I had some feelings.

Lol! Yeah it's interesting watching the psychological aspect of a lot of these discussions. I'm always optimistic at this point in my life. I spent too many years being negative and it's just freaking useless. It also helps to have other Hobbies when it's not snowing...

Posting here because I don’t want to clog the tracking thread.

It hasn’t been this way this winter, but I like being optimistic too. Being negative all the time is no way to live. That said, I feel like I’m watching a train wreck every time I see the excitement build at D7-14 this winter because an exceedingly small number of events have panned out even remotely similar to the long range plots and it’s as if most completely forgot that our background state for whatever reason (I tend to agree with pope about the horrible antecedent airmasses) has led to a near historic level of failure. Temps and snow.

Specifically talking about here in CT, not even necessarily my backyard.

I get it, and respect it. Every threat and pattern is different, and there are only so many weeks each year we have this chance to meaningfully track. I really do get it.

But I’ve hated winter tracking for almost a decade now because people—and I’m speaking collectively, not singling anyone out—really do lose objectivity (and sanity) in a way that does not happen in other seasons. It’s legitimately tough for me to watch, but it’s equally difficult to turn away. I do love the model cinema.

This stuff out of Lake Tahoe is wild.  Snowpack out there is at the height of power lines now, telling kids not to swing from them.

This couple trying to keep their entrance to their house going.  That’s borderline worrisome if that’s how you access your home, ha.

I've been looking through pictures coming out, one I saw the house was buried, you couldn't see the house, they dug out from the walk out basement and made a tunnel to the road.
