3:40a Williamsport: It is 45 now. Up to 64 later today and only down to 45 tomorrow night. What a strange  February and it is already half over.

So far it looks like this month will always be remembered for secret weather balloons. Hard to believe, isn't it?

Could see a shower this AM with a warm front with sun returning this PM with temps warming to the low 60's in many spots. Rain by tomorrow afternoon and then sharply but briefly colder by Friday afternoon into Saturday.
Records for today: High 75 (1949) / Low 11 below zero (1899) / Precipitation 1.61" (1987) / Snow 13.0" (1958)

I'd like to hit 70 today

edit- i almost called off to do laundry and hang them out on the line.

It's going to be an amazing walk along the river later on. Fully expect to see a few snakes as well- can't say that often in February.

last night at our weekly training, we did our annual pump ops class. Never in my years have we flowed water for training in February. That's usually saved for warmer months.
