I am slowly recovering from the Eagles debacle yesterday. Their defense & punt coverage units let them down in the second half. Hurts played a great game, but the first half fumble ended up being very costly. Their D line did not have any impact.
The terrible call at the end of the game should never happen with 2 minutes to go. It’s unbelievable that the refs didn’t let the game be decided on the field.

This game will take awhile to get over…

Another well above normal day today with temps in the low 50's. Our normal high today is just shy of 40 degrees. Of note today is the last day in the winter with average high temperatures of less than 40 degrees. The next time average high temperatures are in the 30's will be December 19th. Tomorrow we will approach near 60 but with increasing clouds. Rain looks to arrive on Thursday into early Friday. Will will turn briefly chillier again on Friday PM into Saturday before warming up again by Sunday.
Our records for today: High 63 degrees (1949) / Low 4 below zero (1979) / Precipitation 1.25" (2007) / Snow 10.0" (1899)

and as I'm just posting above in fun, of course I'm rootin this on like I always do, even though it will likely be gone/different in 6 hrs.  Just need some other model support.  Tellies still don't look good overall, but NAO, MJO look a little better than last week for sure (looking into next week and beyond), so like I suggested late last week, lets hope for a continued trend towards better indicies and maybe one of these deal w/ work out. Climo would suggest that as we approach back end of winter and water temps off east coast are about as cool as they are going to get, that maybe we can get the east coast lined up a little better for winter fun before we close the books.

I pulled this from MU's Climo page - if I'm reading correctly, the normal low for this date is 22. My 35 early this morning is a +13 in respect to normal.

It certainly did NOT feel like a torch this morning...just interesting to me how far above normal it still was/is. Caveat that it was much warmer here than over in the Rouzerville environs. :)

Low of 27 this Am.  Not too shabby for a torch.
