One would argue it is the reason many are here.   In this current season I would relate it to what the Red Sox had so many fans even though many had never been to Boston....people like to root on and hope for long suffering entities to finally get across the finish line.

A lot of truth in those words.

Who are these Red Sox you speak of? Are they one of those sporting units? I'm not much one for that...

They are a group of like individuals who dress up in similar manner on occasions.  Sort of like the Knights of Columbus or the Polar Bear Club.

@Itstrainingtimejust had Mammoth Mountain on the news with EPIC snow amounts.

6 to 8 FEET over the past 3 days. A few inches later today, 1 to 2 more feet later Friday and Saturday, then 3-5 more feet Sunday into Tuesday. They'll be approaching 400" at that point.

It's actually getting kind of serious - there's only 1 significant food store in Mammoth Lakes and they're just about out of everything...trucks haven't been able to get up into town to deliver food and supplies. Caltrans is working feverishly to open things up so that the trucks can make it in over the next couple of days before the next series of major storms strikes over the weekend.

Ugly day!!

Snow will end up getting here sometime this winter. Thinking it might have taken a wrong turn. :lol:

It might have. In Arizona. If you are brave enough, take a look at the GFS Kuchera clown map at 192 hrs. The EURO cuts those numbers in half, but still...

I can binge watch that guy - holy cow is Alabama fortunate to have him during severe weather events.
Working from home, my workstation consists of two monitors and a kindle which is larger than some TV sets.

I have watched the April 27, 2011 coverage, both morning and afternoon/evening and their ice storm coverage many, many times.

Nerd alert! I have as well - the other James Spann coverage I watch a lot is from March 1993. Birmingham got 14" from the Superstorm.
