tamarack
WWA from GYX for inland southern/central Maine - light FR or FRDZ in the pre-dawn may make for a dicey commute. I get to drive my highway tires into town with the snows in the bed, fun. By the time the swap is done, things will probably have warmed up (and/or roads treated) to end the white-knuckle time.

mreaves
My PWS isn't in a great location for wind but it has recorded the highest gust in the 2 years I've had it, 17.4 mph. That qualifies as windy for me.

Would expect a deeper understanding from a degreed Met that going down 10-20 degrees worth of temp departures is not worth doubling down over… and then using a snow cover map to show nothing changed? Like busting out a snow cover map in April or May when it goes from highs in the 40s to highs in the 70s and 80s and say nothing changed.

Those are odds for chimps. Get it? Your non-weather nerd friends—whoever that may be—must really hate this aspect of your personality. For all intents and purposes this above metric of being right turned out to be meaningless for everyone, including the major resorts. Breton woods looks like the most depressing place on earth right now. Well done. Taking the world down with your clown forecasts. 2
