This looks like one of those deals where a few of the minority wet models are too far north with qpf and adjust south . There’s another strong high pressing down just like this weekend. If the IBM and HRRR are showing qpf Monday evening.. then it’s time to think rain . If not , it’s dry I'll give you this, you were right about this weekend. But you made many calls yourself in the winter time where things didn't turn out the way you thought. Point is, sometimes you win sometimes you lose. I do hope it changes and we get the rain. We kind of need it to get out of this drought situation. Fingers crossed

It’s bad on convection and snow in general . Seems to do well with coastals and dry air presses

It’s a tool like anything else, it’s run frequently enough that you can sort of find the HRRR run that’s right. It feels sort of like if a model is relatively correct for one or two systems we as a forum collectively are like, yup that’s the model to look at. Best chance for occasional showers or periods of rain will be across southeast MA and southern RI.

That tweet from Stein about the projected rainfall deficit over the next two weeks is total clown stuff. My girl and I stayed in North Conway at a bed and breakfast 6-7 yrs ago in August, and we went over one evening to eat and drink…gorgeous place. If I remember correctly, can see the back side of Mt Washington from there no?

Damage In Tolland
Temp dropped all day yesterday . It’s been in the 40’s since about 2:30 yesterday. Low is current temp of 44.0. Cloudy, chilly, windy. The way early fall should be where you can wear shorts, but need a hoodie outside.
