SnoSki14
Plenty of mild weather coming up after this. Thursday & Friday look excellent with low to mid 70s, weekend is cool but mid next week looks pretty mild at first glance.

Rain never has to keep you indoors. I guess it takes a certain mindset, but I can enjoy being outside in the rain. Same goes for the higher number of 90° days. We need westerly flow like in 2010 to get a record number of 90s and 100s for our area. Even without a record number of 90s and 100s, the average summer high finished behind 2010. So plenty of days in the upper 80s to boost the highs. I hope we get back to that (and more like the era of the 1990s when we had the most high 90 degree days)....having drier summers would be a nice first step. Volcanic Winter
Is this still technically Ian, or did a new low develop offshore? It looked like Ian died inland and a new low developed from Its energy offshore. I don’t know this stuff as well as many of you but I’m curious. And I guess there’s a near absence of steering winds aloft to move this out and hence the stall / stationary movement?
