mcglups
Mansfield shots look great! First glance of the Presidential range looks like frozen precipitation glazed the peaks down through 4500 feet. Will have to venture closer to get a look this afternoon.

The mountain have cleared out. How much color did you lose with the fropa? Still looks good. Meantime, get ready.... 2

Excluding the storm that produces this precipitation event, the evolution of the air masses in Canada and how they move through the larger scale flow is fairly realistic. Agreed, but seeing <1/2" at my place and 10"+ less than 20 miles NW is right in character. Too early for the 2nd-act SNE to PWM dump, however. powderfreak
Snow cover begins around 2,400ft even after sunshine today. It’s cold!
wx2fish
Up in Pittsburg and saw pixie flakes for a while this morning. Didn't make it up into the real high terrain to see if there was any accumulation
Patriot21
Wife called me outside today to tell me it was snowing. It was, but was probably the most lightest, smallest "flakes" possible. Still nice to see, even though had to squint to see it haha
powderfreak
Even late this afternoon, snow was hanging around. It felt great to be cold again. Hats, gloves. Cold enough that snow lasted throughout the day. Wind chills in the teens. Winter. Fun to get back up and walk around among snow and ice. The crunch underfoot.

wxeyeNH
It's snowing pretty good on top of Wildcat per the cam and on the summit of Mt Washington as this patch of showers is moving through
backedgeapproaching
Definitely past peak down in Mitch's hood. Woodford, Searsburg, Wilmington etc had almost no vibrant reds or oranges between 1400-2k. Interestingly it looks much better up here in the same elevation range in the Magic, Stratton, Bromley area. backedgeapproaching
No frost or freeze yet here. Clouds or wind have thrown a wrench in any radiating night.
eyewall
I am up here and hit a few spots already. Color is best just south of the actual notch. I also hit Nebraska notch and the Waterbury reservoir. I don't remember such a blanket peak in all the years I lived here.

wxeyeNH
My weathercam caught a large meteor falling SW of Central NH around 8pm. It even had a flaming tail. https://video.nest.com/clip/bb1d1b9b4de7403d8b339a11ec902f98.mp4

eyewall
A aerials including more accurate color correction for Nebraska Notch and of course a Stowe shot for Powder. We got out early enough to not have to deal with as many of the peak crowds. One funny note is drones have become much more the norm since I started flying. I had my eyes on the wrong one for a moment and thought I was having a fly away. I was real nervous for a moment until I realized.

tamarack
Another thick frost this morning, and the PC/50s forecast is down the tubes - solid gray with a few drips and low 40s here. Probably 70% leaf drop right around the house, but the general area is only a bit past peak, with some gorgeous views.
