Yep-everything to the left is all miles of houses. It is coming out of the canals now. Those fences on the far left and far right are almost covered now-at least a foot rise in 15 minutes maybe?

It looks like the Orlando area will get what’s left of the Western eyewall tonight and tomorrow AM. Could be the worst storm in WDW history.

It'll be a candidate with the rain and wind.  They had the 90-100+ mph gusts in Charley, but Ian looks to produce a helluva lot more rain.

,based on current radar trends surge may be worse in Cape Coral than Port Charlotte. Absolute highest surge may go between the two population centers.

The bumps east in the last hour or two have made it much more serious in Cape Coral/Ft Myers. Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda may relatively luck out. Cape Coral looks like it has about double the population as Charlotte Harbor.

Captiva may be getting into the eye now.

No idea how the Periwinkle & Casa Ybel West feed on Sanibel is still up, but the water is halfway up the street signs and still seemingly pounding in.

Large areas of Cape Coral are just north of this too. Not a good look. That water is halfway up that electrical box that had the door open(P and CY East).

The surgecam 5 on the SevereStudios YT page is on and amazing. It's on the second story of a resort on the beach on Sanibel. Should be able to see the eye on it soon. I wonder if we will be able to see the stadium effect?

My official Hurricane Statement has increased every update since yesterday. Now says peak wind 55-70 with gusts 100. I'm near MCO.
