Congrats!

Winter weather is certainly here with these temperatures the next few days.

We also might have another Winter Storm threat right after Thanksgiving.

what the 0z giveth....the 6z took away...snow wise.

That storm has been showing up for quite some time, so I'd think we'd all agree something is likely in that timeframe.

When 0z has 540's over my house, to 6z in southern Michigan...I'd say the window is open a plenty for this one.

Buckle up boys n girls.

edit:  i shoulda looked a the Ens runs, and they say window wide open, as there is little continuity for that Black Friday storm, and they show no cutoff low on the 500's, and have a more progressive look.

EVENING TO 1 PM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
of 2 to 4 feet in the most persistent lake snows. The heaviest
snow is expected late this evening through Friday night when
snowfall rates could exceed 3 inches per hour. Winds gusting as
high as 35 mph with produce patchy blowing snow.

Now I love a good blizzard but I'm afraid I'd have to pass on this one.

I am off today, so I will be around to join the day shift!

MDT is currently at + 6.5 temperature departure for the month to date. The next 2 weeks should really cut into that number with the temps that are forecast.

I think @Bubbler86mention something like this AN to mid Nov and then BN to the of the month. Could we get a BN for the month of Nov.

it’s going to be tough to erase the + departure, but we will be putting up some good below average temps to help the cause. I think we can get close to wiping out the positive departure.

Well la-de-da with the collar on your shirt!  Us WFH types never see collars.  LOL.

It's a requirement of my position. It's amazing how quickly I shed the work clothes upon entering the house - tee shirt and shorts time!

My profile picture is my everyday work vibe. Pic was taken a couple of years ago at an HR conference in DC.

Do we have any live cams of the Buffalo event?

Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk

this has northern pa as well as some tug hill locals on it.  Tug looks pretty stout with a general 8-16", but for any that have been there, can attest that sometimes that can be a 0 or you can double amounts in any location.  Just depends on where the firehose of snow sets up.  Enjoy

Heres one I just found for Buffalo on the web.

39, partly-to-mostly sunny and pretty mild on sporadic moments when the wind is calm. But so far we’re getting consistent canderson wind gusts that make it feel significantly colder. My point and click Weather Underground app says we’re getting wind gusts up to 27 mph and that it feels like it’s 30 out. That  sounds/feels about right.
