Some fairly bad storm damage on Route 16 through Rouzerville/Waynesboro area...going to take a pic or two.  Signs and trees down (yesterday's winds gusting over 50 by the time it was done).

Any stations pick up that kind of wind.   Either asos or home.  50 seems high

I heard the gust from the business owner but no verification.  I had gusts into the 40's and a ton of yard cleanup.  Tree down in Wayne Heights and this sign in Rou'Ville.  Will not name the business but anyone familiar can figure it out.   Men are uncomfortable with the store name.

I remember that happening so many times over the years in PA. We'd get a crappy weekend from Friday night through Sunday afternoon, and then, an hour or two before sunset, the skies would magically clear. Then Monday would be gorgeous.

It is a most miserable day over this way.  Not much wind on my side.  1 3/4" of rain now.   .1" per hour several hours today but a 30 min spurt of 1/3" this AM in a downpour.

Three-day rain total here of exactly 1.5 inches.

National high/low of 106 and 20 in the stalwarts of Death Valley and Peter Sinks.

MDT ended September .4 degrees above average and with 3.98" of rain, which is .85" below avg.

On Sept 11th, MDT was about 3" above average for the month at that time.  Dry as a bone final 2/3 with only a total of .56" over almost 3 weeks.

On the other side of the coin, the Meso's are looking at a very wet next 36 hours for much of Central and Southern PA in the East as Post Ian tucks further west than previously progged.
