FIT reported 1.93 yesterday, then 1.83 since 00 GMT ... Isn't that 3.76? 

Why is NWS reporting 1 and change along rt 2?

Glad the flooding doesn't seem too bad.  A bunch of TV mets had posts/videos where they showed glasses of water on parched, "normal", and soaked ground. The glasses over the parched soil did not soak through, leading me to believe that in a big rainer it would all run into rivers, etc.  I guess with them being low that might have mitigatged flooding?
