I live in northern York and we have tons of them. We have made a game out of killing them even with my neighbors joining in. Easily 100 to 200 a weekend get destroyed. Crazy

My sister in Central NJ is inundated too. They killed two trees in her front yard and her patio is covered in sooty mold from the honeydew they excrete.

Cold Canadian high moving in, big storm brewing in the Gulf at 240hrs on the Euro. Get your snowblowers ready :weenie:

Unfortunately the Euro/EPS keep the mix line well to the N&W of the cities. Looks like the interior jackpots, but we need a trend S&E to start soon or we're probably cooked.

^not really. 06z GFS blasts that through and we get like 2" - 4" of rain if that. Plus it's 240+ hrs out.

I was more focused being on the "right" side of the track for severe weather, but yes, 240 out.

Anybody ever think, like I do, that this time of year can produce the hottest sun? Even though the angle is much lower, it seems that the clear air lets the sun blast away.

It's actually the lower angle.  It hits more of your body now rather than just the top pf your head and shoulders.  It heats flat surfaces less, but vertical surfaces more.
