First cold rain of the season tonight. Feels like mid winter :devilsmiley:

I feel good about this winter. Less "getting screwed events"...wouldn't mind a couple hellish snow squall events where my cell phone makes that God almighty sound warning me like I don't already know....

36F/light rain

Getting a good downpour. My stupid ass still has the windows open but the rain sound is relaxing. Sitting at 61F indoors w/the heat off/flannel on....neighbor downstairs must be cranking the heat.

With heating bills expected to explode this winter I'm the perfect fit/save money than the normal...

Wasnt terrible for 13 days out tbh. Had the right idea just progged slower (17th vs 15th at time of post) but had the right disturbance and measurable snow in part of the area. GFS is king. :pimp:

Not sold on Thanksgiving weekend....looks like an interior Northeast/New England thang

Waning La Nina...cooling in Modoki region, solar minimum rebounding, Scandinavian ridging feeding -NAO....just a few of the pieces leading me to believe the Philly metro and nearby areas receive a 10"+ type storm before the winter season ends. Oh, and the WDI of course. But seriously, my research says a larger storm is on tap this year. Piece are there lets see what happens.

I agree, something will happen...just feels like it.

Phils made a good run, Birds 8-1, Flyers ahead of pace. Leaves all over the place, squirrels running around like maniacs...thinking late Nov/early Dec for something. A decent 2-4" would be cool to start the holidays....
