Radar looks not good for the game

Couldn't have been worse timing for the rain to arrive. Now that the Phils games are pushed ahead a day it looks like I'll have to construct the dual TV set up for Thurs night. Phils start time 8:03pm, Birds start time 8:15pm...

0.15" of rain since last night. October finished as our 2nd straight below normal temperature month with an average temperature of 52.0 which is 2.1 degrees below normal. This is out 2nd consecutive below normal month and the 5th such month across the first 10 months of 2022. This October is also the chilliest October since 2008. Of note that is the last time the Phillies won the World Series...just saying!
The record high for today is 84 degrees from 1950. The record low is 22 degrees from 1928. The daily rainfall record is 2.78" from 1956.

Our great stretch of autumnal weather will continue with well above normal temps through the middle of next week. We will then cool back to about normal. Mainly dry weather except for late Saturday night into Sunday AM.
The record high for today is 82 degrees set back in 1950. The record low was set the very next year with a 17 degree reading in 1951. The daily rainfall record is 1.24" from 1910.

Whoa a RW sighting, winter must be coming :snowman: Hope you had a great summer man. Any thoughts on this upcoming winter? Most outlooks I've read seem to be leaning towards early chances, lull during peak winter, then more chances late winter/early spring. Would be pretty typical of a fading nina. Would be nice to get a storm or two before Christmas, feels like it's been awhile since we've had a great December storm pre Christmas.

Have been enjoying the waning days of fall. Ended up with 68 as a high for both Wed. & Thurs., and lows of 48 Wed., with a chillier 42 yesterday.

This morning has probably been the foggiest IMBY over the past couple weeks when there had been fog advisories up, but right now, the sun is battling to get seen.

After a low of 45, am currently a foggy/misty 49 with a dp of 48, and with the sun trying to punch through the low stratus.

Have the heat off, kitchen, TV room and bedroom windows open and still at 69.4F in the house w/o a breeze besides the fan on med...pathetic.

Yeah, feels like late April/early May out there. Too soon for below normal temps to produce anything but cold rain. May as well enjoy the great outdoors and saving on the heating bill.

My heating billing was/is never a problem because I keep the temp so low (50F-60F) or I say screw it and turn off the heat altogether. The A/C bill kicks my ass much more...

Dry and very mild weekend on tap across Chester County and the Philadelphia area - highs should reach the 70's both days. Cold front crosses the region later Monday with temps dropping back to normal levels with high temps in the mid-50's.
The record high for today is 78 degrees set in 1975. The record low is 21 degrees from 1949. The daily rain record is 1.56" set way back in 1896.

Finished up with a high of 71 yesterday and had a low of of 57 earlier this morning and no fog or low stratus (Even with the higher dps probably due to the breeze that did kick in).

Have already surpassed yesterday's high and am currently partly sunny and 73, with dp 65.  Am busting out the grill given the opportunity to take advantage of the nice weather.

Today's high here in the Philly burbs of Chester County was 75.1. This was the warmest day since September 21st. We only saw one day over 70 degrees during the entire month of October. The record high minimum record for overnight tonight is 62.5 set back in 2015. We may be close to that warm record tonight! Go Phillies!!

We set a new record maximum low temperature this AM as we only dropped to 63.2 here in Chester County PA. This breaks the old mark of 62.5 set back in 2015. We will break another record overnight tonight as we should again stay above 60 degrees. The current record for November 7th is the 57 degrees set way back in 1912.
We should see temps fall back to near normal during the middle of the upcoming week before a slight rebound to above temps before much colder and below normal weather arrives by next Sunday. I suspect the 2nd half of November will average well below normal temps to balance off much of the early month warmth.
