Our gloomy weather will finally break today. Over the last 4 days we have received 0.58" of rain. October has been a wet month with rain on 11 days so far. Total rainfall this month has been 6.41" this is the 14th wettest October with records back to 1894 for Chester County PA. The wettest being the 9.12" that fell back in 2012.
Temperatures should average slightly below normal through the upcoming weekend.

Tuesday's high eventually topped out at 70 and yesterday's high was 68 after a humid low of 56 and a bit more fog than Tuesday (although still not completely socked in).  With the hundredth of an inch more in the bucket wrung out of the humid/misty air yesterday, my final tally was 0.41" over 4-days.

This morning's low was 52 and the air mass change has been noticeable, with breezy conditions, lower dewpoints, and blue skies.

Currently 62 and sunny with dp 42.

Nice autumnal weekend on the way. Temps will struggle to escape the 50's for afternoon highs. Rain chances increase on Monday PM. Following that much warmer weather with above normal temperatures likely for at least the next 10 days.
The record high for today is 84 degrees from 1919. The record low is 17 degrees set in 1936. Daily rainfall record is the 1.60" in 1902.

Some lower spots like Marsh Creek bottomed out below freezing this morning. Only made it down to 35.6 here in East Nantmeal. Nice dry weekend in store with temperatures remaining in the 50's by day with 30's again tonight. Next chance of showers will be Monday PM.
The record high today is 79 degrees from 1946. Record low is 23 degrees from 1976. The daily rainfall record is 4.04" from 2012.
Go Phillies!!

I asked Alexa. Pretty much the same as google...

What kind of winter is predicted for 2022 in Pennsylvania?
"November 2022 to October 2023. Winter temperatures will be below normal, while precipitation and snowfall will be above normal. The coldest periods will be in early December, early and late January, and most of February. The snowiest periods will be in early to mid-January, late January, and late February."

Ended up with 63 as a high Thursday, along with a cooler 57 high yesterday after a low of 41, so had some nice fall days with the first big leaf drop underway.  This morning's low was 39 and I made it to 59 as a high with more clouds, but generally sunny for much of the day.  Currently 45 and clear with dp 37.

WOW, a truly western USA  mountain valley night here for the LV  --29 degree low expected with a chance of freezing fog. Do not see that forecast to often here in October let alone before Thanksgiving. The diurnal range is just incredible almost 35 degrees with low dewpoints and low humidities during the day. Highs in the mid 60s from 29 degrees

A near normal temperature day today with plenty of sun. Some light rain is possible tomorrow...hopefully not enough to impact Game 3 of the World Series (Go Phillies!)
After that we should warm to a nice above normal stretch of Indian Summer weather with high temps in the mid to upper 60's for the rest of the first week of November.
The record high for today is 82 degrees set in 1946. Our record low is 21 degrees set in 1928. The daily rainfall record is 1.48" in 1935.image.png.887793009aefe6eb8c371cc033943fdf.png
