There was a weather radio alert out about that.

Got another hundredth of an inch and am at 0.41" so far today.  Temp/dp still 66. That line is really slow moving so I can how it an sit over an area and rain.itself into a flood-maker.

We picked up 1.16" of rain in East Nantmeal yesterday. Beautiful weather over the weekend before a sharp cold front crosses the area on Monday. After that the chilliest weather of the fall season is on tap for Chester County. Many spots (if they have not already) will see their 1st frost and possibly the first freeze...and the end of the growing season by either Wednesday or Thursday morning.
The record high for today is 85 degrees set back in 1975. The record low is the 27 degree low from 1988. The daily rainfall record is 1.05" from 1977.
GO PHILLIES!

I finished up with 0.71" yesterday and 0.09" this morning for a total of 0.80" of rain over the 2 days.

Low this morning was 52 and it was definitely cooler for the high today, with a 66.  Very nice fall day for sure once the skies cleared and the sun came out.

It's currently 65 and sunny with dp a much drier 38.

Spectacular weekend underway across Chester County PA. Showers likely on Monday followed by the chilliest air of the season for the rest of the week.
Go Phillies!!
The record high today is 89 degrees set way back in 1897. Our record low is 28 degrees from 1937. Daily rainfall record is the 1.58" that fell back in 1954.

Another beauty of a day today with highs running a couple of degrees above normal. The well advertised cold front will cross the county from west to east early Monday morning. High temperatures Tuesday through Thursday will struggle to escape the 40's more typical of Late November than mid October.
Record high today is 94 degrees set way back in 1897. The record low is 27 degrees from 1939. Daily rain record is the 1.66" that fell in 2019.
Go Phillies and Go Birds!

Slight chance of some showers today as the cold front crosses the area. Temperatures the next 4 nights will fall into the 30's across Chester County. High temperatures will struggle to escape the 40's both Tuesday and Wednesday. We should see temperatures rising to slightly above above normal toward next weekend.
The record high for today is 89 degrees set in 1908. The record low is 25 degrees in 1937. Record rainfall is 1.30" in 1932.

Ended up with variable highs/lows as we went into the weekend, with a final high Friday of 66, a high of 70 on Saturday after a chilly 42 start, and a cooler high of 64 Sunday after a warmer low of 50.

This morning has generally been overcast with the sun wanting to break through but not quite getting there.  Bottomed out at 53 and it's currently 63 and overcast, with dp 57.

My parents reported thunder and small hail in Oxford, PA around 4:10 pm. They're up to almost an inch! We only got .03" here in Reading but it blew up pretty quick. Unexpected for today--glad I worked from home.

My Upper Darby sis texted that they had hail (her pic looked to have been of pea-sized).

Didn't get any hail here but do have 0.55" in the gauge at post time.  Temp 56 with dp 56.
