Icon looks like the nam with the second wave doing most of the work

Never like it when things get delayed. Obviously leaves the door further open for change. Until I see actual rain, I’m hedging low totals. Particularly here in SW Suffolk.

It will be interesting to see these trees with dead leaves on them-do they come back or are they toast.   We have alot of rock here and trees growing in areas with limited top soil have all gone brown.   Even the vines are dead...LOL

All the leaves here browning

The just to the north has been my story all summer. I could hear the thunder and see the lightning two Fridays ago

It's been the north shore almost all summer.  But also areas right along the south shore had a good soaking recently.  The areas between sunrise/montauk hwy and southern state in nassau and western suffolk and areas between 454 and sunrise/montauk hwy in suffolk have had like nothing all summer.

We’ve cobbled together over 5” this month; just lucky I guess. Maybe elevation has helped a smidge in squeezing out all possible moisture; lawns are healthy green after being cooked brown in July.

There are not many signs of stress at all, aside from the ash borer decimating everything in the way.
