RUNNAWAYICEBERG
Looks the dew down lasts 4-5 days then some dews return towards the back half of the month but it doesn’t look as oppressive as se canada tries to flex itself again.

tamarack
Listened to thunder from 8 to 10 last evening, some from strikes within 2 miles. 2 hours traumatizing the dog for just 0.08", with another 0.05" some hours later. Crosstown neighbor reported 0.25". Low of 66 this morning under the clouds. Very warm and humid yesterday morning but a cloud deck arrived at noon to hold the max to 85.

This fits with the rapid warming of the Western Atlantic. The marine heatwave has boosted the Atlantic SSTs near the all-time warmest for this time of year. Going into beast mode. Going to be a loooong hot humid one. Buckle in folks

Looks like the GFS is much faster with the FROPA and then has some sort of weak "high" pressure at the sfc but it looks rather weird. The Euro seems to make much more sense with how the first half of the week evolves...very slow progressing front which either washes out or stalls just off the coast. AC use is killing us .23" last evening 71/69 NH electric rates went way up this week. Ours is usually around $130, even with the electric car. I just got an email to expect a bill around $240. Electric cars were so cheap to drive. They still are but the gap is closing as gas is coming down and electric going up so much.
