interesting how the 12z GFS develops something off of Florida now a bunch of the 12z EPS members are hinting at it though much weaker

I read the gfs casually and that track/intensity seemed 2004 Alex-like.   Didn't look at any upper air stuff or whatever. Then I read this....:damage:

Hurricane Alex was one of the northernmost major hurricanes on record, and whose formation marked the fifth-latest start to a season since 1954.

Dews are back baby. Near 70 dews now.

That may be your local sea breeze?

SSTs at station 44005 are in the low 70 NNE if Cape Ann … also at the other buoy near by. Wind flipped onshore and I’m wondering if that drafted in dewy BL

Just looked at a couple model runs. Just absolutely laughable the surgical precision that any rain misses most of eastern and especially southeastern mass

I wouldn’t be too concerned with model precip output though. Fri thru next week will have plenty of chances with the moist flow as we’re wedged between the war and frontal passages over the ohio valley.

Greetings all.hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Just popping in to set record straight.  It was insinuated / said in the July thread that my dew discussion had made Will leave the board .The last thing I would ever want to do is drive good Mets and posters away . So I took the queue and backed away. Simple as that. Had nothing to do with busting chops back and forth. We do that all the time and it goes both ways. Dish it out, take some back. All in fun . At any rate.. hope I run into a few of you running or enjoying other outdoor activities during this next month or so of heat and humidity.
