I’m heading down at the end of the month and Labor Day Weekend, will be interesting to see the water level at the dam.  The old railroad track berm was almost all exposed across the entire body of water in July, can’t imagine now.

NWS Boston site radar working.  Sweet looks like some nice steady rain moving in. Does kind of suck as 2 daughters are playing Championship ball games tonight on separate fields at the same location at the same time and looks like beingrained out is a distinct possibility.

Nice...good luck.

I found this:

Shortly after 4pm today Car 2, Truck 4, Engine 1 and Engine 3 responded to a residence on Adams Road for a reported brush fire. On arrival, firefighters found approximately an acre and a half burning with the fire burning up to 6 inches deep into the ground in some spots. A mutual aid tanker from Westminster, MA Fire Department assisted on scene. Firefighters worked for 4 hours in the 90 degree heat to extinguish the fire. The cause was found to be an illegal unattended outside fire. We urge everyone to use extreme caution with any open flame during this ongoing drought as fires can spread extremely quickly and take long periods of time to extinguish.
