It's a very tropical style rain. Low echo centroid, with much of the cell below the freezing level.

Right in line… we do 6” snowfalls and 0.50” rainers very well.  You still have had more than here last 10 days I bet (Didn’t Bob just get 2”?) just comes in smaller more frequent amounts up here :lol:.

I’m sure it’s better for vegetation though to get 4 days of 0.50” than 90 minutes and 2.00” despite totals being the same.

You’re not pouring lol. This is not going to throw heavy rain hundreds of miles west . The flow around is drying and wnw . Not saying you don’t get a bit of rain . People are going bonkers over heavy rains way back into W MA and CT.
