GramaxRefugee
0.08" Missing us to the north this time. About 10.7 for the month. Checking my record, wettest July was 2018 with 13.43. That month was dry until the 17th. Pretty tired of rain here. (Sorry drought stricken ones)
CAPE
0.90" with the initial line that was training NE but finally sank far enough south to get clipped. More development to the SW. Can hear the booming thunder with that.

nj2va
Pretty amazing it’s July 19th and this week will be our first official heat wave of the summer.
BlizzardNole
0.67 which is the best rain in weeks here. Very much needed Looked at CoCoRaHS for last 30 days -- Jefferson in southern FredCo has 2.06 while a spot in far NW DC has 14.37!

MN Transplant
The OP Euro and GFS want to go triple digits on Sunday, but they’ve both been terrible with big heat this summer. Probably best to use the ensembles which are more in the upper 90s range. It’ll be above normal in the hottest part of the year, which is always unpleasant.

Ukie and CMC keep us in the mid-upper 90s. GFS ensembles per Ian's twitter also touch 100.

pazzo83
probably a lock for a couple nights of 80F+ as well with the lack of storms. We will probably have quite the extended period of 75F+ temps as well (low overnight in DC was 77F).
CAPE
Pretty decent outside right now with somewhat lower dewpoints. Temp is 83 here. Enjoy it while it lasts. Chuck's long predicted 'big heat' is nearly upon us.
pazzo83
it's kind of insane that lows in the upper 70s are now pretty routine in the urban areas from DC to NYC from late June through August. And around here a couple 80+ lows are now mostly an annual occurrence.
Eskimo Joe
Let's go for broke this weekend. 100s for everyone, high dews, and mid 80s for lows.

Heat and catastrophic amounts of rain over a short timeframe on a very localized level. We've already knocked out the latter several times this season. We gotta go big with the heat. yoda
00z UKIE has 96 at DCA for both 18z SUN and 00z MON... so I would guess upper 90s 00z CMC has 98 at DCA for both 18z SUN and 00z MON... so I would guess it breaches 100 sometime in between those hours
