Mother Nature “uninstalling” window units from windows in 70kt blasts.

I give DIT credit, he will absolutely trade 7-10 days without power for a weather event.  Always has, always will.

One of his 10k units lands in Trapp Family Lodge parking lot.

Sorry.

It’s my fault. I’m dense.

Retro’d by ACK and gave the south shore 80-90+mph winds.

A hurricane force low before it became Wanda in the open Atlantic lol.

I recorded just above 980mb in Orleans. Definitely cat 1 gusts early that morning.

Its more compelling than this afternoon's T-storm activity.

Good ones up here...dumping rain and windy, severe warned but othrs nearby getting it good.  You know Pat's Peak...a very small very intense radar echo passed near there in the last few iminutes.

0.17” in last 15 days here.  Jaccrispy lawns here.

We cannot buy a rain shower here.  Just had the sky turn black with lots of rumbles and then maybe a minute light rain.
It’s akin to what @Typhoon Tipsaid earlier, it’s almost as if the arid soil is robbing atmospheric moisture and depleting thunderstorms.

86 is now COC? It used to be below 76.  Goal posts always moving with the ACATT crowd.

Dews into the low 50s…maybe even 40s in spots again.

if we’re going to use 1k Davis dews we’re going to use the temps too. Not the tarmac.

It’s about RH.  That’s the easiest way to think about it.  35% or lower in the afternoon is the sweet spot.

Chamber isn’t about cold.  It can be 67/64 and that’s not COC.  That’s moist.  86F with 31% RH is Chamber in mid-July more than temps in the 60s with high RH.

Happens here.  Sandy soils dry out faster.  The southerly flow also kills thunderstorms in this area.  Need more W, N-W flow for storms here or a synoptic storm.

winds have been nuts today.  30-40mph gusts
