Lol. Coc is dynamic. It’s not just 68/35 all year around. Warmth with low dews that feels great on the body and mind…regardless of season.

Same argument every year. COC also has seasons in seasons. Best 4th  weekend weather in decades

We’re roughly 2 weeks away from peak climo too so any sustained big heaters need to start showing up on guidance by then.

Here it's about a 30-day plateau, July 10-Aug 10, in which our average temp stays within 1° of the warmest day.  Winter's coldest is much sharper, with only Jan 17-28 within that 1°.

Pretty sure you call 70° a torch in March

70?  He calls it Morch if the temp is above 50F.  It’s been tough to watch so far this summer.  Can’t say it’s a torch or humid and then nitpicking over Chamber of Commerce definitions.

COC is more of a function of RH than anything.  Get 40-45% RH or under and it’s in the zone.  Under 30-35% is Red Flag style dry.

Today, no COC… 68/58 here and spitting raindrops. 70% or higher RH.  Crazy when upper 50s dews feel humid.

The EPS is beginning to show the SE Ridge/WAR pattern developing in mid to late July. So that’s probably when places like NYC and LGA see their first heatwave. The Euro has a classic endless summer pattern from August into October.

Yeah, the Euro has enhanced probabilities for Gulf and East Coast landfalls.

It has been tough to watch part of you hope he sees his dews. His ratings are very low

As a fan of winter weather why would you ever want that(below) to happen heading into colder months??

The Euro has a classic endless summer pattern from August into October. .......

It’ll be right on time in August for the dog days.  And we can all enjoy it.  It’s possible to crossover and like both.

You still haven’t answered, have you enjoyed this summer weather so far?

The Euro wasn't exactly head-of-the-class in predicting the pattern we are currently in, in the long term a few months back.  No doubt this pattern will break at some point, but also not a given that the Euro is sniffing out correctly.

Will gladly continue to take the 80's temps and 50's/60's dew points as much as possible.  Can't believe there are people that do not like this weather.  I at least understand the whole not liking cold and snow thing - that's an acquired taste, and that type of weather can also be annoying.  But this is as pleasant as it gets for humans to live in...

couldn't have worked out better for outdoor enthusiasts...   Cook-cutter perfect July 4 weekend weather, ..back to work, shits.

Although there may be some folks taking the week, granted.  Not going to last though. Tomorrow is back to bathing in utopia spoils.. .then we do today on Thrusday, and we'll see for the weekend but it looks temperate and uneventful for now.

There are finally signs in the extended, though, that nothing's going to change ...   So, all one needs is to be patient - forever - and they'll be fine.

This is silly. While there may be seasonal adjustments in patterns and pattern shifts, there's no guarantee Peter ever needs to be robbed to pay Paul.  It's why chaos theory is part of the forecasting paradigm...
