Isnt it weird how thunderstorms in suffolk are just posted about here with no thought, but 4” of snow falls twice as close to central park and there is a debate about where it should be posted?

i am glad tomorrow the humidity will be dropping i do not think i could have survived another day with a  dewpoint around 70...

I'm expecting at least 15-20 more of these type of humidity days.

Forecast was a bust in my eyes

more sun than clouds today

downpour in dix hills where I was then cleared out to sunny skies

not a drop at my house in babylon

clear night so far. Approved.

At this point it’s looking like the the majority of the metro gets through this with .00”. So yes thats a bust. During the time of year with the highest insulation, if we do not start seeing rain soon then we will be headed into a drought.

Slight or higher risks always seem to be busts around here. Then when I’m not paying attention during a marginal risk, we get walloped lol

so far things could not have gone any better if you do not like hot weather for the nyc area,, a occasional hot day here and there since may and quite  a few cooler and dry days perfect..

Agree. I think we’ve been very fortunate this year to not have long stretches of hazy hot and humid! Which is why I’m disappointed to see posts today indicating another endless Summer and a lot of heat into October. Ugh.
