Prices on lobster are way down now. Does this mean Reds isn't charging $40 for a roll now?

Price in Maine where I was Tuesday was $5.99 lb, we stopped at a restaurant and I asked how much for the 1 1/4 lb boiled lobster and it was $52, I passed.

Looking to take 4 kids(ages 1 year to 11 years old) somewhere the last week of September. Leaning towards Acadia or Cape Cod. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Thanks!

They are both amazing places.  The Cape should be a little more people sparse that time of year but it's just beaches, dunes and boardwalk trails through the cedar swamps for entertainment.  The terrain in Acadia is more varied and possibly more interesting to kids.  The mountains meet the sea.

I'd agree if the kids were a bit older, but the younger ones will probably like the Cape's beaches better than the cool water at Sand Beach.  And the 1-to-11 crew probably won't even notice the fall colors on the rocky hills of Acadia.
