LOL, I figured we might as well have the whole enchilada for anyone going.  Our massive differences in high temps suggests I live in my own climate.  LOL.

I'll be there for parade and carrnie tonight. Seriously I took notice on some of the model maps that they have it warmer in the mid Susquehanna Valley then Harrisburg. and Williamsport was warmer on Sunday than the burg was.

I think much of that was cloud based. Stalled front just to our south and a Choo Choo of moisture riding along it.   What is your elevation there, I forget?

467 at my house and down at the creek which is 150 ft. away from the house is 453. You hear stuff about these micro climates...I think i live in it especially in the summer, not in the winter though.

I had a high of 89 yesterday at 4. I didn't check after that though. did we hit 90?

I didn't see any official stations reach 90. And outside of mahantango's 118 degree reading yesterday, most of us remained in the 80s as well. (my highest reading was 89.3...so close)

@Bubbler86 - I was reading elsewhere that Newark, NJ was at or above 100 for 5 consecutive days last week which I believe is an all-time record. I didn't look to see if that was officially verified as happening and indeed a record.

That is a real heat wave and real HIA in action.  Lot more airplanes there.   There should record the facial reactions of people who fly in there...when they look down during landing and realize where they are about to be dropped off.

I think there's been discussion (similar to DCA in the winter) about the airport's numbers, but apparently there were other stations in NJ above 100 as well.
