Fortunately for the vacationers, the winds appear as if they are well below what the Hurricane Center was originally calling for.
Blizzard of 93
I just found my new favorite website… snow-forecast.com Here is their most recent update: SNOW NEWS UPDATED 29 JUNE 2022 INTRODUCTION After the big June snowfalls first in the Andes then Australia and finally New Zealand, over the first three weeks of June, the past seven days (the first of full wintertime by both astronomical and meteorological measures in the southern hemisphere) have been rather quiet for most ski areas around the world with just light snowfall, if any at all, reported for most. That said at least some fresh snowfall was reported on all six continents, up high in the northern hemisphere of course. The biggest snowfalls reported though over the past seven days have been in South America. 1

Good point on the wind…we had one really windy day when I was down there. The rain would make it miserable, especially on the holiday weekend. Stuck in the middle again, although the cells near Bloomsburg are intriguing me. Looks like I have a possibility of getting some of that action based on current movement. Right now waiting for the steam train to roll through Tamaqua. I'll post a video later of it.

Not going to be a chilly night by any means. @Itstrainingtime, your zone forecast is actually low 60's. Not sure it gets that low but combine that with a DP of 50ish and it is sweet.

Mount Joy Snowman
I’m at a family cookout in Rohrerstown just west of Lancaster City and we had a nice 15 minute downpour earlier and now some storms intensifying over York and trying to head this way, albeit ever so slowly.
