IronTy
I'm trying to teach myself about soundings, does anybody have a good resource for online forecast soundings? Weatherbell doesn't have them which is annoying.

MN Transplant
This is an oddball stat, but I looked it up because the difference between Friday (high 99) and Saturday (high 79) was so stark. At DCA (since 1941), there have only been 9 summer days with temperature drops of more than 20 degrees between consecutive days. Several of those included precip, which means that there have only been a handful of periods similar to what we just encountered.

WEATHER53
So if these continuous pushes of cool air don’t end until June’s over, then can July keep it up? What are temps like around Hudson Bay?
CAPE
Repeating pattern continues for now. The next NS closed low flattens the upper ridge before it propagates east, with the tendency for low pressure off the NE coast to keep our region coolish/ inhibit the eastward advance of big heat.
