Next week the Plains / MW ridge rebuilds and tries to make eastward expansion Tue (6/21) through Sat (6/25) but a weakness and tendency for onshore flow and storms firing around the periphery of the ridge should limit heat in the period. The flow does look to flatten some by next weekend (6/25-26) and may allow for a blast of heat.
