I’ve been busy and have not looked at models today. How wet is it looking for the Northern Berkshires tonight?

Supposed to be camping with friends but I might hold off until tomorrow if it looks real wet.

Looks like some showers/storms generally after 6-8pm or so. BOX mentioned convection headed that way this evening, we'll see.

I haven't viewed a model since March, and won't until a viable tropical threat surfaces for the US this summer.

Decided to stop and stay in Danbury. Brewster May be a bit far west

Where might be a good vantage point in Danbury for viewing incoming storms?

Near the mall?

Or the corporate park area on the hill to the east of the mall?

Or Danbury Airport?

Or?

I don’t follow severe weather seriously in Nashua at its like once a decade event but was there big storms forecast in W CT that just didn’t materialize ?

There was a chance of gentle showers on all models. Everything had Stein as they hit CT. There really was no severe threat NE of Philly in anything

That is one brutal backdoor next week for ME and NH on the GFS. Completely snubs a potential four day heat event. I'll be heading back that way the second week of June so I've been keeping an eye on the pattern evolution.
